This particular Danish sampler features the satin zig zag and eight pointed star (Star of Bethlehem) border found on a number of Scandinavian samplers. Some of the designs are worked in tent stitch which is a common feature on Danish samplers. It includes the alphabet as well as some diaper patterns, crowns, Jesu Gram and numerous initials of family members. This sampler is reproduced from the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen, access no. L1099
